What is a Photo Walk?
People often ask this question if they've never heard of the concept before. The reality is that Photo Walks are a not a new thing, it was a concept that began with the invention of 35mm film. People could interact with their environment for the first time when portraiture became an accessible art form.
Today, Photo Walks are an immersive learn-as-you-go portraiture session where models and photographers get a chance to collaborate and create unique images within a limited timeframe. Think speed-dating for creatives!
So whether you have experience in the field or not, it's a chance for you to give portrait photography a try and learn from a community who are welcoming and creative!

Step into the Ludlow Tuart Forest for an autumn photo walk shaped by texture, atmosphere and the quiet history of this unique landscape. This session leans into an enchanted woodland theme, using the tall tuarts, filtered light and dense undergrowth to create a cinematic, editorial feel.
A selection of props will be available on the day that are designed to enhance the environment rather than overpower it, giving photographers the chance to build mood, depth and narrative within the forest.
This walk suits anyone interested in portraiture, fashion‑inspired imagery or creative storytelling in nature. The focus is on exploring composition, working with natural light and creating images that feel atmospheric and transportive.
